Drop down to the ledges, reefs, and wrecks off Cape Canaveral where trophy grouper, red snapper, and massive amberjack live. Port Canaveral's deep-water access puts you on the best bottom fishing grounds on Florida's Atlantic coast.
Deep sea bottom fishing requires going out 60–100 miles to reach the productive reef systems and underwater ledges off the Space Coast. But the payoff is extraordinary — the reefs hold some of the largest and most sought-after food fish in the Atlantic: gag grouper, red grouper, red snapper, and amberjack.
We use heavy conventional tackle suited for the deep and always have fresh live and cut bait aboard. Our captains know the exact GPS coordinates of the most productive ledges, wrecks, and hard bottom structures — spots built up over years of fishing these grounds. This is a serious angling experience that often results in a cooler full of premium table fare.

Gag grouper are the holy grail of deep sea bottom fishing — powerful, stubborn fighters that live in the cracks and ledges of the reef. Red snapper are incredibly popular for their fight and for the table. Amberjack — sometimes called "reef donkeys" — are pure muscle and will absolutely test your stamina on heavy tackle.
